VIP Day Terms & Conditions

By purchasing this Service, you, (“The Client”) agree to retain Kate Merryweather (“Service Provider”) to proceed with the VIP done-in-a-day service (“VIP Day”) and agree to the terms and conditions as set forth in this Agreement.

Agenda

The VIP Day agenda; all times are listed in AEST/AEDT (Melbourne time):

9am Business deep dive, 60 minutes

10am Morning break 

11am LinkedIn profile session, 90 minutes

12:30pm Lunch break 

1:30pm Your content plan, 90 minutes

3:00 Afternoon break

3:30 The three Cs: connecting, commenting and consistency, 60 minutes 

4:30pm End of day 

Availability

The Service Provider will allocate the full workday of 9:00am-5:00pm AEST/AEDT (Melbourne time) to deliver the VIP Day via Zoom meetings as per the agenda. The Client is required to be available for the full workday also, to facilitate the delivery of the VIP Day.

After VIP Day Support

During the 30 days of support provided after the VIP Day, the Client will be able to email or message Service Provider with any questions or concerns about the work that was performed during the VIP Day, and will receive a reply via email, message or video tutorials. This support period does not include additional written work that exceeds what was done during the VIP Day. If the Client has additional work that needs to be performed, the Client will have the option to book additional support as per the Service Providers current rates. 

Facebook group access

As part of the support delivered after the VIP Day, the Service Provider will invite the Client to join the Show Up School Facebook group, which entitles the Client to access: 

• free tickets to any paid public workshops delivered by the Service Provider during the three-month period; 
• access to all Show Up School monthly events hosted by the Service Provider via Zoom, including but not limited to: 
• Ask Me Anything & Audits: a monthly check in event, where members can ask for feedback and get audits on their LinkedIn profiles or content; 
• Content Club: a monthly content planning session 
• I’m Stuck Session: an ad-hoc support meeting 
• the ability to ask questions, join discussions, share results and otherwise participate in the Facebook group 

The Service Provider retains the right to use any content created by the Client in the Facebook group in promotion of the VIP Day or other services without prior notice. The Service Provider agrees to anonymise the Client’s private information, by blocking out visibility of the Client’s name, image or any other identifying details in screenshots or other media. 

The Client accepts that access is given to the Facebook group only, for post-event support, and not the full suite of training and resources granted to paying members of the Show Up School Membership. 

When the three months of Facebook access is complete, the Client will be removed from the Facebook group. The Client will be invited to continue the membership in a paid capacity, but is not under any obligation to do so. 

Copyright

The results of any and all work performed by Service Provider for Client, including original creative work, will remain the property of the Client. You, the Client, may use this material in any way deemed appropriate.

Assets & Recordings 

The Client understands that any written statements, images, audio recordings or video recordings of Client while participating in the intensive and made on behalf of the Service Provider may be used in connection with publicising and promoting the Service Provider. Client authorises the Service Provider to use their name, brief biographical information, and the written or recorded statements for example, for a testimonial social media post.

Payment 

The Client agrees to pay 100% of the VIP Day fee in advance of the day. The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel the VIP Day if payment has not been received in advance. 

Cancellations or postponements

The Client is entitled to cancel the VIP Day with 48 hours’ written notice due to change of mind or circumstances. The Service Provider agrees to provide a full refund of the payment within 48 hours of receiving the cancellation notice. 

If the Client wishes to postpone the VIP Day, the Service Provider will retain 100% of the fee and offer the Client alternative dates for consideration. SHould no alternative dates be agreed upon, the Service provider will refund 100% of the payment within 48 hours of the agreement being made. 

If the Client cancels the VIP Day with less than 48 hours’ written notice, the Service Provider will retain a 30% late-notice cancellation fee.  

If the Service Provider cancels the VIP Day, 100% of payment will be refunded within 48 hours of the cancellation notification, to be submitted in writing. 

Personal Responsibility 

By participating in the VIP Day, you accept personal responsibility for the results of your actions. You agree that the Service Provider has not made any guarantees about the results of taking any action, whether recommended in the VIP Day or not. The Service Provider supplies educational and informational resources that are intended to help participants in the VIP Day succeed. You nevertheless recognise that your ultimate success or failure will be the result of your own efforts, your particular situation, and innumerable other circumstances beyond the control and/or knowledge of the Service Provider.

You also recognise that prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Thus, the results obtained by others – whether clients of the Service Provider or otherwise – applying the principles included in the VIP Day or the Show Up School Facebook Group are no guarantee that you or any other person or entity will be able to obtain similar results.

You agree to take full responsibility for any harm or damage you suffer as a result of the use, or non-use, of the information available in the VIP Day and the Show Up School Facebook Group. You agree to use judgment and conduct due diligence before taking any actions or implementing any plans or policy suggested or recommended in the VIP Day.
